Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Laborer to join our team. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to concrete construction and maintenance. Must be able to set forms, tie rebar for grade beams and pier holes. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power tools
- Operate a concrete mixer to mix materials
- Assist with the installation of rebar and wire mesh
- Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels or other finishing tools
- Repair or patch existing concrete structures
- Assist with the demolition of old concrete structures
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Skills:
- Experience as a carpenter or in a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in working with power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of concrete mixing techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with drywall, masonry, plaster, and flooring installation is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and finishes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: $21.65 - $26.08 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
